Jennifer H - Owner
Jennifer Hulbert joined the family auto business in 2001 and has been integral to its growth and success ever since. Having held every position in the shop except for auto technician, Jennifer took over day-to-day operations when her father retired in 2009. Under her leadership, Service Plus Automotive has earned a reputation for trustworthiness and customer care throughout the Calcium, Fort Drum, and Watertown communities. Jennifer’s passion for building a strong, cohesive team is reflected in the shop’s core purpose: "Exceeding customer expectations by providing quality, hassle-free, and honest repairs in a rewarding, teamwork environment with our work family." For Jennifer, the team at Service Plus Automotive truly is her extended family.
Chris H - Lead Service Advisor
Chris H. brings over 10 years of automotive service experience to the team at Service Plus Automotive. Having moved to the Fort Drum area in the mid-90s when his father was stationed at the military base, Chris is deeply committed to serving both the military and local communities. Since joining us in May 2022, Chris has become known for his dedication to providing the best possible service to our customers, always striving to exceed their expectations and deliver on his promises.
Lee R - Lead Technician
Lee R. is a former Fort Drum Army soldier who retired in the Watertown/Fort Drum area. Since joining our team in February 2013, Lee has become our lead technician, specializing in electrical and engine diagnostics. His extraordinary multitasking abilities and leadership skills make him invaluable in getting customers’ vehicles back on the road quickly. Lee’s problem-solving expertise is unmatched, and he plays a crucial role in our leadership team, helping us continue to grow and provide the best customer service possible.
Jason D - Technician and In-house Repair Specialist
Jason D. joined Service Plus Automotive in January 2018 and quickly became a pillar of our business. A lifelong resident of Watertown, Jason excels in welding and loves working on exhaust systems and drivability issues. He is a fantastic team player, always ready to lend a hand to his colleagues. In addition to his technical skills, Jason is our go-to guy for maintaining and repairing shop equipment, ensuring everything is always in top condition. We couldn’t run the shop without his expertise and dedication.
Leland S - General Service Technician
Leland S. started as an apprentice at Service Plus Automotive in July 2020 and has since grown into our General Service Technician. A Jefferson County native, Leland is known for his precision and attention to detail in every repair he performs. He excels in alignments and enjoys handling routine maintenance tasks such as BG Fluid Services. Leland’s eagerness to learn and grow as a technician makes him a valuable member of our team, and we’re excited to see where his career will take him.
Tom W - Diagnostic Technician
Tom W. has been a part of the Jefferson County community his entire life and joined our team in 2022. As a highly efficient technician, Tom is always willing to take on any job, no matter how complex or unique. His willingness to learn and tackle out-of-the-box repairs makes him an essential part of our team. Tom’s ability to jump into challenging tasks and complete them with excellence ensures that our customers are back on the road as quickly as possible.
Collin H - General Service Technician
Collin H. joined the family business in 2021 as our newest apprentice. With a deep-rooted passion for the automotive industry, Collin is eager to learn and tackle repairs with enthusiasm. He enjoys working on brakes and performing general maintenance services like BG Fluid Services, spark plug replacements, and oil changes. Collin’s commitment to keeping up with daily appointments and his readiness to learn make him an integral part of our future as he continues to grow as a technician.
