The Signs Your Car AC Needs Service
Unusual Noises
If your car's AC is making any unusual noise that it wasn't making before, that is a warning sign that it needs service. The most common AC noises are humming, banging, or rattling. These noises can be caused by various reasons such as an obstruction from leaves or debris, the blower motor, or even a major component failure. You should service your vehicle immediately if this is the case for you.
No Air
When you turn on your car's AC, and there is no air, this could indicate a blown fuse. Another common culprit for this is a failed blower motor or blower resistor. Get your car serviced to avoid further problems in the future.
Balmy Air
When your car's AC is in cool mode but fails to cool the vehicle as before, it is a sign to get it serviced. Balmy air can indicate an obstructed condenser or failed condenser, low refrigerant, or an obstruction in the system affecting the pressures.
